My first IMM and plans for September

Hey, guys!
I hope you are enjoying the start of fall, which honestly I haven't noticed here in Midlands. It's been raining since beginning of August, so it's not like we're going to have some major changes - there'll be just more rain :) Still, I love autumn...

Здравствуйте, мои хорошие, надеюсь, что осень началась для вас приятно. Я пропустила её начало, так как у нас в Мидланс идут дожди с начала августа, и осень принесёт только ещё больше дождей...

There will be some improvements during September on this blog.

1. First of all, I'm adding much needed In My Mailbox meme from The Story Siren as I came to the point where my books are piling up fast, and I do want to mention how I acquired them and send my thanks.

2. Secondly, me and my hubby are going to our first Steampunk convention, I'm extremely excited about it, and if all goes well I want to start reading at least one Steampunk book per month and learn about the genre and its rules, perks and whatnot with you, guys. So, one monthly steampunk feature coming up!

3. In the end of this month I'm taking part in zombie-fest, so get ready for one surprise zombie book giveaway :)

4. At some point in September you'll get My Guilty Pleasure feature again, and I'll run a poll to see if it's interesting enough for you, guys.

5. There will be Artist Behind The Cover feature again this month, because I found another awesome and very talented artist.

6. And of course, there will be more Redheads! Can you believe that I have a pile waiting for me already?

Artist Behind The Cover.

6. И наконец, Рыженькие! Тема эта остаётся, у меня уже опять накопилась груда обложек с рыжими, верите вы этому или нет. Так что, тема продолжится.

Ну и вот что оказалось в моём почтовом ящике сегодня.

OK, back to my IMM or what's in my pile of books now?

Blood Rock, Hellbent and Every Other Day have been read already and I have to say they were fantastic!

Уже прочитаны три вышеперечисленные книги, и они были прекрасны!

Oooh Hellbent! I'm interested in looking up Cherie Priest's other work because Boneshaker was fantastic (read that one for my steampunk feature). I also didn't know you were in the Midlands - me too :) \o/

Blood Rights looks fantastic! I've ordered myself a copy :)

Looking forward to steampunk and zombies! Love both genres...although generally not together...but maybe...? :)

I'm down south but got soaked today! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I love yours! I've only read a couple steampunk books and I think I like them enough to read more in the genre. The first one I read was like CLASSIC steampunk - the author is actually the one who came up with the term! So that was interesting, the other one I read was very current - The Girl in the Steel Corset, which I really enjoyed a lot!

Congratz on your first IMM post, I've been doing IMM for awhile now and I just think it's so much fun to see what other people have gotten and share your own books to. One of my favorite memes, other than Teaser Tuesday!

I've heard a lot of good things about The Pledge, I'll probably check that out once it comes out. Once a Day looks REALLY good, I haven't come across that one before, but definitely going to look more up about it!

Looks like you had an awesome week! :D

In case of zombie apocalypse

Hey, guys! I feel like I should say this just in case :)
If you'd like to sponsor a fellow book addict who sometimes can't sleep at night worrying that she won't have enough books to read if internet goes down in the event of zombie apocalypse (I'm convinced it's one of the top five ways to go for human race) you can donate through Paypal to olivesandacorns at gmail dot com or buy a book through any of the links provided with my reviews which will send me a small percentage from the sale. All proceeds will go towards my enormous TBR. I will also shelter you on the remote farm in Portugal when zombie apocalypse starts provided you survive getting there. There will be books, yay?
Thank you! Love you all
