The Postman Knock #124
Hello, ladies and gents!
How have you been?
As I mentioned in Friday post, I am slacking this week on the blog due to being very busy on the farm, and it will probably last until next Friday. It's hot, and we are working non-stop to do the last of the planting of the season, and by the time I get to sit by computer or read a book for review all I want is to close my eyes and go to sleep :)
So, yeah... I am here, but not very much active until I put myself together again.
READ/LISTENED TO:
FOR YOU was good. Unexpected with mild annoyances, but good. I'll let you know why in my review. I liked CODA. It was a good ending for Jonathan and Monica. Realistic. FALLEN CREST FAMILY was another part of the fascinating YA soap opera I've been reading. Honestly, as I said, this sh*t is addictive! I am not mentioning J.D. ROBB, because these are all re-reads on audio.
NETGALLEY/EDELWEISS:
Super excited about both of them, thanks to the publishers!
BOUGHT:
Animal Farm might have come as a surprise, but growing up in Russia, this book was never part of my curriculum, so when I saw it on Audio as one of the daily deals, I snatched it :) And no, I won't be reviewing it here. The Anatomy of Death was on my wishlist literally for years until the price was reduced to under £4 and I finally bought it. Really excited about it!
KINDLE FREEBIE:
Another book off my wishlist.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Hey, Eurovision was intense last night, right?! Glad Sweden won (this was one of my favorites), but I still think Belgium (that boy is genius), Norway and Latvia were better!
What did you think?
Over and out,
tchau!
