The Postman Knock #121
Hello, my lovelies!
Well, well, well, I woke up today to more than half a million views on the blog :)))) So cool!
It's also raining and gray, and I am quite happy to stay in bed for awhile.
Also, we have two new kittens playing furiously with each other as I'm typing, and I am enjoying the view.
Meet Olive and Haggbard (the latter is a character from my hubby's favorite book).
Here is what I READ/LISTENED TO in the last 2 weeks:
I already lamented that GHOST STORY isn't narrated by James Marsters which spoiled my listening experience. But. Someone pointed out that Marsters came back and recorded this book in the end, and Audible US has both versions for sale. Of course it wasn't the case with Audible UK. *sigh* Loved UNSEEMLY SCIENCE, and absolutely adored A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES. Maas writes fantastic kick ass heroines! Sherry Thomas can't do anything wrong, and THE ONE IN MY HEART was clever and lovely. COLD DAYS's ending was an absolute shock for me, and I'm on the latest book in this series now. I enjoyed MATERIAL GIRLS immensely, it was a wickedly clever dystopia. At last, CAPTURE was a fabulous ending to a geeky, funny and sweet series. All in all, it was two weeks of very good reading for me.
BOUGHT:
Oh noes! Last two Dresdens! What do I binge listen to now?!
I didn't realise Elezar had his own books until now, so I had to start reading his story as well.
This is it for me, peeps. No review books, and I'm finally clearing out my review shelves for the summer.
Hugs to all and have a wonderful week!
Tchau!
