kara-karina@Nocturnal Book Reviews
This week has totally flown by, and right now I'm exhausted.
Halloween is not celebrated that much here, so I'm not expecting any kids treat or tricking on our quiet street, but I'm buying my pumpkin damn it! and putting it in the window ;)
Bookwise I had a very good week again, so here is my haul...
Egalleys

Love Leanna Renee Hieber, and the premise sounds fantastic. I'm so glad they approved my request! Also this book is part of my Netgalley Month reading.

I love spies in historicals, so I really couldn't resist this book. However so far it's been a slow read - too much thinking and info dumps and too little action.

Vampires and librarians? This should be interesting :)

Just a reminder.
Don't forget that today is the last day to enter my giveaway for If Angels Burn/Winter Queen.
Monday I'm participating in Spooktacular Giveaway Hop, and man have I got a treat for you! Giveaway will be international of course.
Between now and Halloween I have another 2 giveaways planned so keep an eye out :)

Back to our music...
The video is wacky, but I love that song!
and man candies Vampire edition...
Lestat (who is by far more interesting in the book than in the movie Queen of The Damned)
Jean Claude from Anita Blake. That there is no actual picture just tells you that no man yet came close to that perfection *grinning*
Spike (do I have to even say where from?)
Out. For. A. Walk. B*tch
You remember? That was priceless.
So, any vampire to add? I know there are loads :)

Cicada looks good! I also want to read Darker Still but I've managed to avoid Net Galley this week. Awesome haul! Happy reading!!!
Oh I love that pic of Spike!! Just watched Supernatural and he was in it! Not as Spike, but the actor!
I got Darker Still too! Can't wait to read it! Happy Reading!
My IMM goes up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
Kara,
Great mailbox. I'm looking forward to your reviews.

VERY awesome week Kara! Hope you enjoy everything! :)
Spike was my favourite Vampire ever - I love him! Before Edward Cullen and the Salvators, Spike ruled the grey area of blood drinkers!
I hope you like Darker Still - I've just discovered Leanna Renee Hieber and cant' wait to try her books!
"Out. For. A. Walk. B*tch
You remember? That was priceless." YES YES YES!! Loved that. xD
I'm reading Cicada at the moment, it's pretty good! Gonna have the author over on the blog in a couple of weeks time, gonna be awesome. :)
I downloaded Jenny Pox too! :) Can't wait to read it. I love your books, hope you'll enjoy reading them. Oh, and Cicada is on my TBR list as well :)
Have a great weekend!

Jenny Pox keeps popping up in posts this week. I'm going to have to check that one out. Another great IMM for you!

Great set! India Black sounds fabulous. I'm very interested in Darker Still too.
My IMM
Nice mailbox! I am really looking forward to reading Darker Still! Enjoy your new reads!
I love India Black and I've got Darker Still and Touch of Power to read, too. I'm glad you hopped by my blog today! Looks like we have similar tastes :)
I think so, Jenny!:) I like India Black, but I wished they had less info dumps. I've got diploma in history and they feel like something taken from a lecture... Too much and completely unnecessary.
Hi, Kara-karina!
The India Black cover is gorgeous! It's disappointing that the historical content is so "textbookish."
I heard Jenny Pox is a good one! I downloaded that one, too.
Enjoy your new books, and thanks for stopping by to check out my mailbox!
