The Postman Knock #82

Hello, everyone! Vika will be joining me today after her trip to BookCon, which I'm very excited about.
Gorgeous week again on our quinta! I was so busy working outside I didn't read as much, but what I did read was good! Check out my oh so very pink hat, by the way... :D How was your week?

PLAYING WITH DARKNESS was fun! Very short though and stopped at the most interesting part... *smirks* THE AGREEMENT  was OKAY but it took me ages too read, and frankly was too vanilla for BDSM novel. Yeah, I know! Although I did like the romance itself. Holy cow, FORTUNE'S PAWN was amazing, folks! I am reading the whole series back to back because I can not stop. *grinning* At last, BEYOND JEALOUSY was scorching hot, intense and romantic! I always enjoyed reading about Ace, but add to him Cruz and Rachel? Phew...

YES! I was so hoping to get these ARCs. Thanks to the publishers!!

Woo, so many good books I didn't know what to start reading! Plus my favorite Russian fantasy author  has a new book out, so I had to buy it too!

This is it for me, have a lovely week, everyone, and I pass you to Vika.

Hi guys! It was a quiet week for me and not much reading done, but I'm looking forward to next week's release of Written in My Own Heart's Blood, so I made sure to clear out my schedule. :) Anyone else excited?

Anyway, as K. mentioned, I was at BookCon last week (read about my experience here) and I wanted to share my book haul with you. It's not really an impressive haul, but exciting nonetheless! I also was lucky to pick up Diana's Commonplace Book (as described in Shadow of Night), which was a nice treat for me, as I'm a huge fan of the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. This is a special, not-for-sale item, so it's especially cool.

That's it for me as well. Have a great week!

In case of zombie apocalypse

Hey, guys! I feel like I should say this just in case :)
If you'd like to sponsor a fellow book addict who sometimes can't sleep at night worrying that she won't have enough books to read if internet goes down in the event of zombie apocalypse (I'm convinced it's one of the top five ways to go for human race) you can donate through Paypal to olivesandacorns at gmail dot com or buy a book through any of the links provided with my reviews which will send me a small percentage from the sale. All proceeds will go towards my enormous TBR. I will also shelter you on the remote farm in Portugal when zombie apocalypse starts provided you survive getting there. There will be books, yay?
Thank you! Love you all
