The Postman Knock #52

Hello, me dears!
Hope everyone had just as cracking week as I did.
Lots of work has been done and we've also started olive harvesting! It's so much fun, peeps :)
I'll be posting new updates on our quinta's blog this week if anyone interested in that kind of thing.

Bloodlines was really awesome, a great urban fantasy with a very likeable, snarky heroine. Hunter was a little bit different but still a solid four star read. At last, The Last Hour of Gann was truly EPIC, me dears. I've heard about this book through the grapevine, got curious, started reading and couldn't put it down until I finished. And it's a pretty long book! Really really enjoyed it. One of the best reads for me this year.

Thank you, Melissa, Skyla Dawn Cameron and Susan Illene!

First book was on sale yesterday and it has been on my list of non-European fantasy to read so I've snatched it up. Second one was a pre-order, but I still haven't touched it because I'm experiencing a book hangover after The Last Hour of Gann. :)

This is it for me.
How was your week, ladies and gents?

I just got Bloodlines as well because it was a freebie and saw it on someone else's post. Excellent haul.

I got Bloodlines too! I've heard a lot about Gann; I'm hesitant about all of the raping that occurs in teh book. People seem to either love the book or hate it.

Looking forward to your posts at your other blog. :)

I'm interested in three of these books: "Shadowplay", "A Sorcerer's Treason", and "Archangel's Legion". The others look great, too, but they're ebooks.....so I'll definitely pass. (Of course, if they're ever published in print editions, I'll snap them up right away!!

Thank you so much for commenting on my "Stacking The Shelves" post! So sorry about the very late comment.....I wanted to come see your post right away, and post my reaction, but one thing led to another...

In future, I'll definitely try to come over and comment back again right away!!

Thanks for the lovely post! : )

In case of zombie apocalypse

Hey, guys! I feel like I should say this just in case :)
If you'd like to sponsor a fellow book addict who sometimes can't sleep at night worrying that she won't have enough books to read if internet goes down in the event of zombie apocalypse (I'm convinced it's one of the top five ways to go for human race) you can donate through Paypal to olivesandacorns at gmail dot com or buy a book through any of the links provided with my reviews which will send me a small percentage from the sale. All proceeds will go towards my enormous TBR. I will also shelter you on the remote farm in Portugal when zombie apocalypse starts provided you survive getting there. There will be books, yay?
Thank you! Love you all
