Hello everyone! I can't believe May is gone, it flew by so fast! Here is what I'm looking forward to among June bookish releases...
I've pre-ordered The Bandit King because I really enjoyed book #1, and I'm on the waiting list for new Anita Blake in my library because I've stopped buying LKH books awhile ago, but that's about it.

I freaking loved this book! It's got this "too cool for school" feel that only male authors seem to pull off.Angels and demons battle for the control and a possibility of Armageddon in the making, a lowly collector of souls gets sent off to New York to collect a soul of a mass murderer. Looks like a straightforward job for Sam, but when he looks into the girl's soul, he sees that she is innocent. To collect her soul for Hell means to jump start End of Days, and no demons or angels want that.

Anna Dressed in Blood is a very very good horror story, one that will keep you turning the pages until the very end. It's tense, exhilarating and pretty dark.Why on Earth then did you give this book lower rating? you might ask.

Why do I want to read it?
I do love historical fiction mixed with paranormal aspects, and this book has got a fantastic premise - stage magicians meet the real deal. Plus, I can not resist a redhead on a tastefully done cover. Those green letters are gorgeous!

Truly gorgeous. I'm reassured again and again that everything Elizabeth writes I love.This is a contemporary romance which is not my usual genre, and if Elizabeth hasn't enquired about my interest in her short novel, I would never have read this book otherwise.
Seriously. The way she brings her characters to life makes you really root for them, all of them. I had my heart in my throat through most of the book and nearly in tears at some points.

This was undeniably one of the better YAs I've read so far in 2012. The reason? The male characters were really well done, and there was such a variety of them too! Hugely entertaining, refreshing in its paranormal aspects, with a decent, strong and stubborn female lead, Becca. However, there were few things I disliked about Becca I feel I have to mention:
