It snowed here first time on Friday, people, and it was gorgeous! Funny how small things like that can make you so happy.
Here is what in my mailbox this week...
Netgalley
I did mention how much I enjoy Jack The Ripper stories, right?
Bought
Ilona Andrews commented on reading and liking Blood Wager on her blog, so I thought "What the heck? It's only 86p, no harm in trying." Ugh. Next thing I know my whole weekend is gone.
I read all 6 in three days. I. Just.Couldn't. Stop. Last two are messy, but first four hugely entertaining and pure UF.
Won
Thank you, Book Chick City, Eve and LovLivLife Reviews! It's no secret I stopped reading Morganville vampires after book 5-6, so Last Breath joins my Birthday Giveaway stash ;))

Dream Lover, That Voodoo You Do - get yours!
This is it. What's in your mailbox, ladies and gents?
Complimentary music as usual :)
Elvis isn't dead, ladies. Instead he served his time in prison, lost some weight and became a ghost rider :)
Happy Sunday!

In case of zombie apocalypse
Hey, guys! I feel like I should say this just in case :)
If you'd like to sponsor a fellow book addict who sometimes can't sleep at night worrying that she won't have enough books to read if internet goes down in the event of zombie apocalypse (I'm convinced it's one of the top five ways to go for human race) you can donate through Paypal to olivesandacorns at gmail dot com or buy a book through any of the links provided with my reviews which will send me a small percentage from the sale. All proceeds will go towards my enormous TBR. I will also shelter you on the remote farm in Portugal when zombie apocalypse starts provided you survive getting there. There will be books, yay?
Thank you! Love you all

Those Blood books look interesting, I like the covers. I'll have to check those out.
I liked "That Voodoo You Do" and Jodi is a ton of fun on Twitter. She just did a guest post on my blog.
You acquired a lot of books, I hope you enjoy them all. :)
I received Ripper from netgalley as well. In fact, I've already started reading it, and I have a really strong feeling this one is gonna be a winner. I found the heroine interesting & endearing from the very first chapter, which is a very good sign.
I want some snow too :-( but by the look of things we're more likely to run around in shorts this Christmas. Let's blame global warming, because this is just crazy! When I was a kid (did I just really really write that, oh my) we still had REAL winters with LOTS of snow *sigh*.
And, nice haul, as always :-) !
I had to laugh as I got Ripper from netgalley as well this week!! See definitely netgalley twins! :-)
I'm deefinitely jealous of Working Stiff as well - I like the premise even if I've not read many Rachel Caine books.
I LOVED Last Breath! Hope you enjoy it. I wondered about requesting Ripper from NetGalley but I think I will wait to see what others think of it first. Great haul this week. Have fun reading! :)
My IMM
Whoa. You bought an entire series! Nice. LOL. Have a great week!
I've working stiff in my TBR pile I hope you'll enjoy them all!
I got Ripper as well sweetie this week. Oh man that guy is super hot. I like him a lot. Good mailbox. Old follower just saying hello.

Livre De Amour-Books of Love
Oh my god Volbeat!! I haven't heard of anybody else who likes them since a Danish guy sent me one of their albums! :D Can't remember which one I liked now. Also, you lied, Dream Lover is 86p! ;) You're gonna love Working Stiff, or I hope you do :D
I had to tear myself away from Morganville after book 5, those cliffhangers get me every time! I'm heading north tomorrow so might get some snow, it's rare where I live.
Hannah, it was free when I wrote that post, so the price must have changed overnight , damn it!
Ellie, cliffhangers were what pissed me off about each book. I was waiting for a year at that time, then each book will finish with that horrible type of cliffhanger, so I gave up :)
Bea, I guarantee that at least the first 3 books of Blood Destiny series are very very good. I hope you try them out!
Marg, I'm really relieved. I'm getting ready for January Netgalley month, so Ripper will be definitely read then.
Birgit, I have no doubt you'll have at least some snow before the end of the winter :)
Mel, definitely evil netgalley twins :)
Joy, yep, one after another. Thanks god they don't cost much, because I couldn't stop myself ;)
Sam, thank you darling, for stopping by!
Melliane, I hope you enjoy it too! :)
Ooh that actor is hot!!! I've been wanting to try some Rachel Caine. I also have Ripper doesn't it sounds awesome? I can't wait to start it! Wonderful haul my dear!

Awesome mailbox! Ripper sounds really good. :) Enjoy all your new reads!
You definitely have some interesting books in there! I'm quite curious about them. And snow makes me happy too! At least around Christmas. It snowed the first time around a week ago. It's rained some since though so I hope it stays until the weekend :( Thanks for stopping by!
