The Postman Knock #162

Hello, everyone!
How is things?
I am trying to be more active on blogosphere now that the temperatures have dropped to a comfortable level. There was just something about +40C in the shade which was turning my brain to mash this summer. Now it's +25-27C at its peak and it makes a massive difference.
I am also clearing out my kindle which is why you'd see a lot of DNFs in the next few Sunday posts. Basically my e-reader is full and I need to get rid of a lot of books that I've downloaded 3-4 years ago and never touched, because let's face it, - I'll probably never read them anyway!
In other news, it's been 3 years on 23rd of September since we moved to Portugal, and I've been loving every day of it.
That's it for personal news, hope you are all mighty fine.

Here is what I READ/LISTENED TO in the last week:

SECRET SINS stayed with me for awhile and my only regret was that it was so short! OVER THE EDGE was quite lovely but I wasn't happy with the twist in the plot.  And of course, FESTIVE IN DEATH was reliably excellent which happens to every J. D. Robb book. And hey, this counts as a Christmas read, right?

DNFs:

FORBIDDEN fell absolutely flat for me. I did not like the writing style in A WEDDING IN SPRINGTIME. And while I usually enjoy Sophia Nash, I couldn't care less about the plot in THE ONCE AND FUTURE DUCHESS. At last, while HIDDEN THINGS had a noirish feel, I was bored, so I refused to go past the first few chapters.

NETGALLEY:

This is it for me,
have a great week, everyone!
