The Postman Knock #107
How have you been, my lovelies?
I've been pretty much away from the blogosphere, reading, listening to audiobooks and immersing myself (at last!) into learning Portuguese language. I admit I find it really hard these days to spend time commenting on my friends blogs. It just eats away so much of my time... so I just apologise profusely for abandoning you all for now.*hugs*
I've been also knitting and watching a bit of historical drama.
Wives and Daughters is a 1999 British mini series, and it's absolutely lovely. If you are into such things, watch it. There are only 4 parts.
READ:
I listened to NAAMAH'S KISS on audio. So lovely. Fantasy definitely works well for me on audio, and I can quite happily work for hours in my garden listening to Carey's books. A MAD, WICKED FOLLY was another delightful book. Historical YA on two of my favorite subjects: suffragettes and painters! NOTHING BETWEEN US was an amazing surprise from Roni because she wrote an M/F/M romance only once before and I did not expect to see one more in this series again *wink* Fab book! At last, CLUB LUXE and FALLEN WOMEN were DNFs: first one, because it was dreadfully written, and the second one, because I couldn't get into it.
NETGALLEY/EDELWEISS/FOR REVIEW:
Reading The Virgin now, and it's gorgeous! It seems I'm neck deep in ARCs this week to get January releases reviewed on time :) The Virgin is umm.... March release, but I can explain! No, I can't. I just have no self-control with Reisz books :)
BOUGHT:
*wails* When am I going to read all these books? Not this month, for sure.
FREEBIE:
This is it for me. How about you?
*hugs and kisses*
