The Postman Knock #130

Hello, ladies and gents!
We are on our third week of building the bathroom and the weather is getting a few degrees cooler. What a relief! I found that  as soon as the heat goes down I find my will to read again. :)
Hey, I watched Austenland at last! Did anyone else feel disappointed? It was just oh so very silly.

Here is what I've READ/LISTENED TO in two weeks:

THE BRUSH OF BLACK WINGS was a lovely novella, which I reviewed in the last post. STRAIGHT TO HELL was a bit of a disaster, and I'm still struggling to articulate why. I explained why otherwise a great novella BREAKING OUT PART 2 got a lower rating from me in a previous post. On the other hand, THE PERILOUS LIFE OF JADE YEO was pretty amazing, and I'd recommend it to anyone! I also loved TRUTH OR BEARD (Cletus was especially adorable) and can't wait to read the next story from Miss Reid.

FOR REVIEW/NETGALLEY:
