The Postman Knock #101

The winter is coming, peeps! *grinning*
I'm sitting in the kitchen with a fire roaring in a fireplace and a hat on top of my freshly washed hair.
I bought two litres of red wine in preparation of olive harvest starting next week, so I can make a big batch of mulled wine and ply all the helping hands throughout the day with a hot drink... You think it's a good plan?
Anyway, here is what I READ this week:

BITTER GREENS was a lovely book and I talked about why in this review. VINCENT fell into my greedy hands after much begging and cajoling on my part when I got refused a review copy on Netgalley, and I read it in one sitting. Love DB Reynolds and will be reviewing this soon! At last, listening to EMPRESS was so depressing I had to abandon it more than a half way through. I don't know what was it - the awful voice for the main heroine or her horrid character, but listening to her was a chore. DNF.

NETGALLEY:

I already said how happy I was to get an ARC of Vincent. With Trinity I saw that it was about Russian mythology and snagged it, and then I found out that Kate Forsyth likes this author, so now I have high hopes for Sophie Masson! *fingers crossed*

BOUGHT:

Bad Blood was on my wishlist and got reduced to £0.37 pence this week so of course I bought it!
I also got the rest of Imriel's trilogy on audio, so I can at last go trough my Jacqueline Carey's books the way I went through Anne Bishop's. Wish me luck!

This is it for me, ladies and gents! Have an awesome weekend, tchau!
