IMM#34

Hi, peeps! We had a tiny bit of sun this week after non-stop rain for a month, and I feel privileged. Seriously though, we are considering a few days away from England somewhere warm and sunny because this weather is depressing.
Here is what I've got in my mailbox...

Bought

Planesrunner was recommended to me as an example of YA sci-fi done right, and The Innocent is a continuation of Vanessa Michael Munroe's adventures which I raved about last year.
I talked about my love of all things Amanda Quick yesterday, and Moonshine has a unique premise of vampire mobsters in 1920s during The Prohibition (UPD: I've read it, and it was really really good!) At last, new Sherry Thomas! That woman's writing is divine... I devoured this book as soon as I got my hands onto it :)

For Review

Thank you, Elizabeth, whose Elemental Mysteries series I totally love, Liz, Vanessa and Terra for providing the books.

What about your book haul, ladies and gents? What did you get?

P.S. Don't forget to enter my ONE year blogoversary giveaway if you haven't done it yet! It's ending on the 9th of May.

Music Video

Fantastic video and a gorgeous cover of Sweet Dreams by Emily Browning herself.
Happy Sunday!

  11. Nice take this week Kara! I've read a couple of Jane Krentz/ Amanda Quick books (the ones that are set in the Victorian Era.) They were fun reads:) That woman is one prolific author isn't she? Nice man candy as usual:)
